As we all know, water quality varies from region to region.  Visibility varies from environment to environment, and is affected by other factors such as weather, moisture in the water, and water temperature.  In some cases, the diving environment is limited, such as when diving in poorly lit caves or in plankton-rich waters.  Therefore, for divers, the flashlight can be said to be essential equipment diving.  Those of you who are familiar with scuba diving will probably know that, in general, a flashlight has the following functions underwater:

diving lighting;  In photography when the diving light for use;  When underwater signal light;  The diving Flashlight can also be used as an underwater searchlight, of course, this function is generally required by divers of special occupations.

In this case, a diving flashlight can be a great help in underwater situations where visibility is low:

First, to help with orientation .

The diving flashlight can help illuminate your surroundings and confirm your orientation, which gives you a degree of security.

Second, it acts as a supplementary light

We all know that light can affect the quality of underwater photos, so the diving flashlight can be used as a backlight to help take higher quality pictures.

Third, as a signal lamp

Most diving partners go together. When the underwater visibility is low, they may not be able to see clearly. In case of problems, the diving flashlight can be used as a signal light for communication between partners.

Fourth, avoid other distractions

In the case of poor visibility due to the abundance of organisms in the water, the flashlight can help us avoid the interference of organisms in the water and prevent the sediment from being too low to the bottom to affect the buoyancy of the water.

Well, that's where the diving flashlight comes in when visibility is low underwater.  As an added bonus, basically all you need to have is one of AUKELLY's classic diving flashlights to meet all of these functional requirements.

Finally, in view of the different ways in which poor visibility affects diving, I would like to make a special note of these three aspects:

First, stay close to your diving partner

When visibility is low, the line of sight may be limited and it is difficult to stay together with the diving partner. During diving, we must stay close to the diving partner and pay attention to each other's position.

Second, use navigation proficiently

With poor visibility, it's hard to know where you are and where you're going.  In addition to flashlights, Pointers and other navigational references are also important.

Third, know the depth of the dive

Limited visibility can be disorienting when descending and ascending, especially when you can't see the bottom or surface of the water.  This can be avoided by following a reference down or up.  If you can't use a reference while descending or ascending, as you learned earlier, use a dive meter to know the depth and rate of descent/ascent.

Finally, I suggest that when diving in poor visibility conditions, no matter what, to ensure their own safety!
